Help From the Expert Dental Hygienist Team

At Kopp Dental, all too often we see firsthand how unhealthy, unsightly teeth, and diseased gums cause problems for those who come to us in their most desperate hour. They suffer from embarrassment, lack of confidence, poor self-esteem, and a host of other health issues. Restoring these smiles back to optimum beauty and ensuring our patients are healthy and happy is what we strive for and is what gives us great pride. We love to see the happy patients leave our office, smiling broadly and enjoying life with a full set of healthy happy looking teeth! This is what our expert dental hygienist team lives for!

So how can you prevent these types of issues and keep your teeth looking perfect? At Kopp Dental, every member of our team is specially trained and brings years of experience to the table. We take our commitment to serving our customers seriously and want to give you some general guidelines keeping your teeth and gums healthy day in and day out:

  • Brush at least twice daily- after each meal is better. Brush with a soft bristled brush and take the time to floss at least once every day before bed. Proper brushing and flossing technique can go a long way, so let our expert dental hygienist give you a demonstration when you come see us for a dental cleaning or checkup.
  • Eat a healthy diet- it is important to make sure you get the vitamins and nutrients you need to keep your teeth and bones healthy and strong. Avoiding excessive amounts of sugar will help keep your teeth strong and make it easier to fight off tooth decay and other dental issues that can wreak havoc on your teeth.
  • Avoid those bad dental habits that damage your teeth and gums and make you more prone to dental issues. Things like chewing ice or chewing on hard items such as pens or candy, will chip and crack teeth. If you grind or clench your teeth in your sleep you need to ask your dentists about ways to minimize the damage this causes.
  • Regularly visit your dentist and keep all scheduled checkups, teeth cleanings, screenings for disease, and treatments. It is important because your dentists can help keep tabs on your dental health and watch for signs of serious tooth decay and other issues such as oral cancers! Expert dental hygienists like ours are ready to help you.

Your oral health is our priority and our expert dental hygienist team is ready to get to work taking care of your smile! At Kopp Dental, we are dedicated to improving the quality of your life and to help you get and maintain a healthy smile each and every day. Contact us today to schedule your appointment.
