Is Flossing Important?

Flossing is not just for getting that piece of food out from between your teeth.  An increasing body of evidence suggests that proper dental care — includes regular flossing.  It seems so often when asked “do you floss regularly?”, people respond sure once a week.  To ensure we are all on the same page, the ADA recommends we floss once per day.

If you are not flossing regularly, now is a great time to start.  Your breath will smell better, you will prevent tarter build up and decay and it also has medical benefits.

At Kopp Dental in Elmhurst we highly recommend flossing to all of our patients. 🙂
